Aruba Cruise Excursion: San Nicolas Street Art Tour

Cruise visitors

Half an hour from your ship

If you are docked in Oranjestad you are a 30-minute drive from San Nicolas — the town Forbes called the street art capital of the Caribbean. Our standard tour runs two hours, which leaves comfortable margin on a typical call.

Four that work

Which tour fits a cruise day

All of them start at the ArtisA gallery in San Nicolas. The two-hour walks suit most schedules; the full day needs checking against your all-aboard time.

Most booked

9:30 AM · 2 hours · from $30

Morning Tour

The simplest option for an early docking. You walk the murals with a local guide who knows the artists and the stories behind the walls, and finish at the ArtisA gallery.

Pickup included

9:30 AM · 2 hours · from $45

Morning Tour and a Ride

The same tour with pickup included. We collect you 45 minutes before the start, so you do not need to arrange transport from the port.

Best light

4:00 PM · 2 hours · from $30

Afternoon Tour

Better light for photographs, and a good fit if your ship leaves late or your morning is already booked.

Full day

9:00 AM pickup · 6.5 hours · from $75

Morning Tour and Baby Beach

Murals in the morning, then Baby Beach on the island’s southern tip. Check this one against your all-aboard time before you book.

What to bring

A few things for the walk

Shoes you can walk in

The tour is on foot through the district. Nothing difficult, but not the day for new sandals.

Sun and water

Aruba is hot and the route is open. A hat and sunscreen make the difference. We bring water too.

A camera or phone

The murals are the point. Tag the artist when you post — their name is on every wall we show you.

Support the work

Keep the walls coming

Every mural in San Nicolas was paid for before it was painted — walls rented, scaffolding hired, artists flown in, paint bought. ArtisA is a foundation, not a brand. What we raise goes back into the next wall, the next workshop, and the young people who learn on them.
