02

Getting there

Where do the tours start?

At the ArtisA gallery, B. v/d Veen Zeppenfeldstraat 6, San Nicolas. We are open Monday to Saturday, 9am to 5pm.

How far is San Nicolas from Oranjestad?

Roughly a 30-minute drive. If you are arriving by cruise ship or staying at a resort in the north of the island, the tours that include pickup save you arranging transport.

Is hotel or cruise port pickup available?

Yes, on the Morning Tour and a Ride, the Afternoon Tour and a Ride, the Baby Beach tour and the Whole Story and Workshop.

03

On the tour

What will I see?

The murals of San Nicolas, painted during the Aruba Art Fair by local and international artists, plus the ArtisA gallery. Your guide is local and will tell you who painted what and why.

Can I do a tour from a cruise ship?

Yes. The two-hour Morning Tour at 9:30 AM suits most cruise schedules. Call us if you want to check it against your ship’s all-aboard time.

What should I bring?

Comfortable walking shoes, sun protection, water, and a camera.

Keep the walls coming

Every mural in San Nicolas was paid for before it was painted — walls rented, scaffolding hired, artists flown in, paint bought. ArtisA is a foundation, not a brand. What we raise goes back into the next wall, the next workshop, and the young people who learn on them.
